Islamabad: At least five people have been
booked over extorting money from bus terminals within the Tarnol
police jurisdiction.
A resident
of Tarnol, Asif lodged a complaint with the local
police that Sohaib Naizi, Qaiser, Kareem, Iftikhar, and Imtiaz extorted Rs.70
0 from different Suzuki and Wagon owners at the Chungi number 26 bus terminal. He also reported that those who don’t pay extortion are given life threats by these extortionists.
The
police registered a case and started investigation, but no arrests have b
een made till now.
